We show some of our poodles but our dogs are first and foremost pets.
Not all of our dogs are show dogs, we have homed waifs and strays and oldies;
all of whom are very much loved and very happy. We have show dogs since the 1970s starting with Pekes.
In the 1980s and early 90s we showed Shih Tzus. Now we show poodles (though we do have an elderly rescue Shih Tzu.
We very, very rarely breed. In fact, we never bred our Pekes or Shih Tzus, though we did used
to breed from our seal point, red/blue tortie point and lilac point Siamese cats.
Since 2002 when we got our first poodles we have bred two litters.
Our black toy, Gemma, was the only one in her litter and is a joy to own.
Our apricot toys, Julie, Lauren and Kate were born to Maddy (Amberiffic Apache Dancer to Starene) last year (2007).
Two of them remained with us, but Lauren went to live with a lovely family with
a black Standard poodle named Sophie; and very happy she is too!
This year (2008) we are expecting a black min litter in early October;
the litter will be out of Montravia Angels Delight and Ch Dechine Secret Destiny with Sherrygold.
Our grateful thanks to Cara for letting us use Spencer's services.
We hope, of course, to keep one, so fingers crossed for a girl as we do not keep unneutered boys in our home.

Our dogs are Optigen tested for prcd pra (hereditary blindness) and luxated patella, both of which they are certified clear.
We may have an older neutered dog/bitch looking for a comfy home with someone settled.
Not all dogs enjoy being part of the pack. However, the home would have to be something very, very special.
Oh, and we would definitley do a homecheck as we did with our Siamese cats and with little Lauren.
We want to ensure that no animal we breed ends up in a 'farm' or a shelter or worse. We care passionately about animals.
