Hello Sarah. I am looking to buy an adult female Toy Poodle as a house pet only. A retired breeding female or a neutered female would be most suitable. I am experienced with poodles and I am at home all day. I absolutely adore the breed and can offer loads of love and affection. References available. Thank you so much. Love the web site.

Hello Sarah I wanted to 'adopt' a full bred Poodle as a house pet and friend for Monty, our cute 3 year old Westie, after having lost our beautiful 10 year old English Springer Spaniel Oliver, to Cancer in October 2009. A complete change of Breed I felt would be the best thing, as I could no way find another Oliver no matter how hard I tried.(and it would not have been fair to a new Boy anyway.) Knowing not a lot about Poodles,I was a bit concerned about 'unscruplous' breeders advertisments, So I got in touch with an acredited Poodle breeder in Scotland who kindly advised me to use UK Poodles, as all on your pages were genuine people who knew a lot about the breed, and any one of them would give me advice about which Poodle would be good for me, and what to look for in choosing him. And guess what! I found just the lady not far away from where I live in Cornwall, and I am going to 'meet' our new little chap next week! - can't wait. So thank you so much Sarah for 'UK Poodles' without your site I don't think I would have risked choosing from all the ad's out there. kind regards Yvonne (& Monty)

Came across your site, it was nice to see some pics and info on these lovely dogs, i have a miniature apricot girl and shes very lively but i wont swop her, she is the second poodle i have had and i think they should be kept "Pure" and not messed with. she is devoted to me and loves all the other animal friends she has and my collie. her name is saffy.

Hi What a lovely surprise to come across a site dedicated to poodles. As far as I am concerned, poodles are the best! My boy, Alfie, is a white toy poodle of just under a year. When we're out and about people often stop for a chat and say that they/one of their family used to have a poodle and that they can't understand why the breed lost popularity. It is such a shame that poodles are being used to create weird cross-breeds. Why do people do that when the poodle is such a marvellous dog, unadulterated? Any way, well done for creating the site. I'll keep popping in to keep up with developments. Mary
