I fell in love with poodles after attending the Trent to Tweed Poodle Club Championship show in 1980.
I met Essie Dean there who started Muriel Harwood on her show career,
Muriel was showing Minarets Royal Jester and Minarets Maytime.
Later, on visiting Essie, I was bowled over by a photo of Ch Minarets Dancing Jester,
I was lucky to obtain Minarets May Queen a daughter of Maytime
and Dancing Jester and she was the foundation of the Kayths Kennel.
I have used black breeding and recently silver based breeding to increase
the gene pool and am committed to continuing this to improve quality.
As a result of using other colours, I occasionally have Phantom marked puppies
who are stunning even if not desirable for show and whilst I do not intentionally breed for
this colour I do hope that they will one day be accepted as they are on the continent.

Typical Kayth's puppy...
